Have area diseases been fixed?? Sorry if I sound like a newb, for CM I'm 4 4 3 4 and I heard that area diseases were bugged but not sure if they ever got fixed. If not, how exactly are they bugged?

they are fixed on TC and will be pushed with the next big patch

There is a problem for them that make their ease of use about 10 times higher than it should be. So unless you have a CM Med Use skill in the 700 range you'll never be able to use one as it stands right now on the live servers.
However if you look at the Q&A post Kavedawg floated at the top of this forum you'll see that this problem has been fixed on Test Center, which means we will likely see the fix pushed out to the live servers in the next publish. (I have no idea when the next publish will be. Likely in November sometime.)
