Thread: How much should i sell poison/diseases for?

I made a batch of AOE C's on Sunrunner using the best resourcesavailable in the last 3 months. What do people usually sell poisons and diseases for?

potency: 104

effectiveness: 100

duration: 986

range: 31

AOE: 34


Poisons:

potency 104

effectiveness 236

I don't have all the numbers in front of me, but not including spider venom, but these seem fairly good to me. The potency could be a hair higher, but since it is above 100, it shouldn't matter that much.


As for charging for them, the answer is always "it is server dependent". If you start by charging 10k per pack, and move up or down based on how they are selling, you will likely do fairly well and your price will stablize after a few days or weeks. (As I recall from a few months ago, prices for poisons tended to vary between 6k to 16k, give or take.)


Keep in mind though that selling combat medicines is a very fickle thing. It is a limited market because only combat medics can use them (and there are relatively few of them), and if they are more that 75 combat medic use (which they must be given the potency), everybody who you can sell to could in theory make it themselves too. Don't expect to set up shop and have people buying your wares off the shelf. Even if you were charging 1 credit a piece, it is entirely possibly to go for a fair stretch and never sell them.



One other thing I'll point out since it sounds like you are just starting out selling is that this is a game. Have fun with it. While making money is good, if making and selling poisons and diseases ever feels like a chore, you are doing something wrong...

If you came to Starsider, you could sell them for a zillion credits each.



NOBODY makes poisons and such for sale (with the rare exception). I'm too lazy to try to find the good resources, so......./shrug.

Start hanging out at swgcraft.com and learn to watch for then farm the hell out of the best sub component materials. The stuff you're selling isn't all that great and if you want to sell for some decent cash it has to be great. The only people that will buy your stuff are lazy MCM's who dont feel like taking the time to rigorously search and farm or buy their own components or 4/0/0/4 CM/TKM pvp stackers who cant make master crafted lvl poisons as good. Be sure and keep all of your stuff below the 75 med use mark as the number of pvp stacking CM's out there is starting to get much larger than regular MCMs. They are the ones who will be your prime buyers.


Things to sell

Mind poison single C's

Mind poison area B's (unless you can experiment the med use on a C low enough and retain higher damage)

Mind disease single C's

Mind disease area B's (no way to make these worth it at C lvl without using venom)


Area Heal B's (work on range and max heal)


If you're lucky enough you can find a rancor bile 10/140 and combine it with a venom then experiment with the range and power. Wont be as good as a regular enhanced C but 140charges vs. 32charges is a world of difference.
