As a Master Ranger on Chimaera who doesn't charge as much as possible (when many do) I would be interested in knowing what you guys think is a fair price for me to sell the new Insect Meat on Naboo.
For those who havent seen it it is called:
Efiha:
Decay Resist: 810
Flavor: 420
Potential Energy: 880
Overall Quality: 952
With pricing, I really need to consider, firstly how many units per hour I can harvest, and secondly to what extent the high PE and OQ will affect the products you create with it.
Now as for harvesting them, I am mainly hunting Capper Spineflaps, Hermit Spiders and Nightspiders (for those who would care to harvest themselves - note this is Chimaera). I can get Cappers from Mission Terminals, so they arent too difficult to locate, though they don't have a vast yield (but still a reasonable one).
So to what degree would these stats on the meat boost your product, and what would you consider to be a fair price to may a Ranger for harvesting them?
There are a lot of disheartening threads going about at the moment, debating whether it is us Rangers who are being greedy, or the richer Doctors inflating the price, and in as such, I want to be careful to offer this meat at a price fair to seller and buyer.
(and to anyone thinking, its value is what I can get for it, there seem to be a lot of people who would disagree)

I'm not on Chimaera, but Ahazi. I would be willing to pay 25cpu plus for this quality of Insect Meat, given a decent quantity. This is the best CM crafting Insect Meat I have ever seen. Did you just make that up?
I think most CMs would drool or mess themselves trying to get that meat into their factories.

Its not that much better than some of the stuff that has spawned on Ahazi. A recent Talusian Insect meat was 981 OQ, 913 PE. And an older spawn which I'm currently getting low on was 962 OQ, 986 PE. The first one had around 300 DR and the second 400. Not quite as well balanced as that meat, but still very nice.

A chef was buying the Talusian for 40 cpu. However that spawn was kind of broken, as it was pretty much gone within a couple of days of being on swgcraft.com.
The Yavinian, I'm not sure. A friend of mine had harvested it a month back and just happened to find the stack and wanted to know if I needed it. My response "omg give me that". I'd say easily 20 cpu, depending upon how often you guys get good meat. If that is best spawn ever stuff, you could probably get 30-50 cpu. I believe chefs need it too (unless they just need Talusian).
