Thread: Best Combination of Doc/CM/Rifleman?

Hello, I'm wondering if anybody could help me with working out my template, like the title says i'm wanting to combine Doc/CM/RIfle i've been MD/MCM a year ago with a different char so i know a little about that but i've never done riflemen.I was thinking 4-0-0-4 in CM/4-4-0-0 in doc and 4-2-4-4 in rifleman. I'mhoping to get goodhealing and some offense out of this but again not sure about the best way to do it. ANY help is appreciated!



P.S. I'll be posting this on the cm and riflemen forums also.

Try this one out


Master rifles

4040 doc- no buff, but u can cure poisons/disease/fire with med use 90 packs

and 3004 CM.


If i remeber correctly thats enough skill points

If you're going to go rifle, I highly recommend you master it. 4244'll just frustate you because you'll shoot soooo slow. You really don't reap the benefits of rifleman until you get that matser box.

Heres what I'd suggest.....



Master Rifleman = You want nothing less than master on this. Trying to dabble this profession is just too difficult. It really doesn't have much in terms of defenses, it's a mostly offensive profession. And the best offense lies at master. Speed + specials


4/0/0/4 Combat Medic = This is the most bang for the dabbling buck in terms of combat medic. Finding people to supply you with 75 cm use materials may be a problem.


4/0/3/0 Doctor = With this you'll be able to cure state effects, poison, disease, fire. You'll have about 80 med use to work with too. With good resources and experimentation from a master doc you ought to be able to use the full line of meds available for a doc for the most part except for buff packs. Although everything will have to be experimented down to 80 which is fairly easy with most doc items. 80 is not a big stretch. Personally I only have 55 med use and do just fine with it.

My recommendation is to not go master combat medic/rifleman, its the fotm and nobody will respect you in the least.

with riflemen go master....or dont bother speed mod's at master

own

CM befor the nerf's, and new med's was the way 2 go.

NOW i say -master Doc/Rilfemen W/ marksmen 4004


OK why-

master rilfe- the mod's

master Doc-state remove

-big heals

-self buffing

-them new area cure's and resist buffs

-you be key in a large group rez's buffing...etc etc

Marksmen(***4)- supp fire, for the poster(you have a cone dizzy w/ master rifle and the mod's so

it will hit)

-more mod's


this temp will EVEN leave you 16 sp leftover for Nov art's or scouting so you can do harv's or,

get meat.(+ give you option 2 jump on that 50cpu meat/hide when it shifts in

Master Rifleman

Doc 4030

CM 4004


Doc is taken purely for state, disease/poison cures, and extuiguish. You can't buff at all, so if that's what you wanted doc for, this won't work. You also can't rez, which kind of sucks if you group a lot. As a CM you are almost full power, and combined with rifleman it's quite effective.This template is extremely effective in pve (especially krayts, I can't think of a better krayt killer than this) and also pretty effective in pvp (the major pvp shortfall is the very low defenses, especially states).


Rifleman is not very flexible at all. Unless you have +20 speed or more from tapes, you must master it to be effective. The +20 speed you get from the master box is a crucial part of the profession's effectiveness.

the best pvp / pve combo in my opinion.



master rifleman


4 4 4 0 doc ( you can cure states , poison , deciese , fire , rez, you can buff for over 2250 with decent buff packs ( over 2500 in a medical player city )


novice brawler ( mainly for intimidate , best all around defensive move for pvp or high level pve )


novice scout with 1 or 2 boxes of exploration . ( the terrain nogotiation helps a lot and if you want you have the ability to harvest oraganics )
