I was thinking of stocking up on some area packs for all the people who need to grind med XP in the new FS quests. Does anyone know what determines how much XP you get for poisoning mobs?

Is it the effect on the poison, the type of poison used, or does it just depend on the mob in question?

The Kitten's Diary, Day 781: I have discovered a most delightful way of making life miserable for my captors. Yesterday, I ate the woman's precious begonia, and today I have dismembered the amaryllis in the bedroom window. She is furious over the loss of her darling house plants! I find it highly gratifying.

Purely anecdotal but ive been grinding out CM via this method.

Exp gained seems to be based on poison effectiveness and CM effectiveness only and is equal to the amount of damage done per tick to the mob tho the experience only accrues on the initial landing of the poison. Potency obviously has an effect on landing it on the mob with potency of 120 seeming to do a decent job on lowish mobs.

Ive only played about for now and havent tried it out on high HAM mobs but Gubburs and Quenkers both appear to give no noticeable difference in experience.

P.S your current Health Area C (cm use 75) was giving me 371 exp per mob at 3004 cm if thats any use.

Medical exp gained for damaging a mob = damage that would be done each tic

And, unless I've been ill informed, you earn medical XP each time you land a poison on the mob, regardless if it is poisoned allready or not. You can even poison something that is on +1 health and gain full XP.

note using a weaker effectiveness poison will not land when a stronger poison is already applied..

example:
i land a 233/tick area poison on batch-o-mobs.. repeat till i'm out..
i toss my 220/tick poison.. all mobs currently poisoned resist the effects..

that i have confirmed with 2 different area C's i've made using cheap rancor just for grind purposes..

i don't know how multiple CM's poisons stack.. never had the opportunity to test..
also i can't recall trying to apply a 'lower grade poison'.. after applying a C series.. so that may or may not work.. every time i thought i might have to stack i always started with the small stuff
