you cannot master both, so if you did that type of template i would suggest you go 4404 in Combat Medic. you get extra efficency, mind healing, terrain negotiation and medicine use with that template. you would just have to buy all your combat meds.

assuming you focused on mind as per your swordsman, you can add your mind poisons for extra DOTs

you would do just fine

Personally I like Master Carbineer/MCM. Very effective when done right Get some states on em, plus a few nasty poisons or diseases. They'll be having nightmares

Up until a couple days ago I was a 4004 CM / Master swords / 3000 doc. Got all glowy and had to change a couple things... so I am that no longer but that template works great for PVE. Master swords is great for PVE on it's own and when you take on some of the big dogs (Krayt, GDK, NS elders), CM is a big boost. The doc portion is mainly for the state heals but it can cure poisons (with a couple doses) and use low med use fire blankets.

I haven't PVPed in a while but I had this setup with Master Fencer instead of swords and it worked well. Can't see why having a great mind bleed and hit would be poor in PVP.

If you do dable in CM go 4004 as a minimum. 4404 is fine as well if mind heals (for your group, not you) is what you want. Don't bother looking at CM if you aren't prepared to at least invest 4004. It isn't worth the points otherwise.

Im MPistoleer/MCM

its fun.

I am curious the difference between 4404CM and MCM right now myself, if anyone can elaborate on this some more, it would help alot.
Cause MPistoleer and MSwordsman is two different worlds. I chose MPistoleer because it has decent defenses, decent damage (with a beastlyde-10), decent short range modifiers. Its major downfall happens to be its lack of working, or even decent speacials. I just spam fanshot like a mofo hoping I hit the mind pool a couple times on the area of enemies i just area poisoned .

But id love to get Mswordsman or Mfencer if the downfall on CM4404 isnt that bad.

Difference in 4404CM and master right now is this.....

12.5% damage per tic

4 meters in range (I throw 48m rated packs 60m)

and the inability to use area C poisons that are fully experimented for damage. You can make some thate are slightly better than Bs, but not by much.
