Thread: HOW WELL DOES MASTER CM WORK IN PVP AND PVE

I've been really thinking about going cm/master pistoler. Id like to know how fast to the poisons and diseases work? In a few seconds could they take down 5-6 tusken commeners alone with no geo help? In 2 minutes kill a tusken captain with no geo help? any info on this would be nice. I was gonna test it on the TC but the lagg is horrible on that place and it would take at least the rest of the night just to craft everything up to use. And by then I could be well on my way with my main to mastering cm. I would be doing everything pretty much solo I know master pistoler witha good geo can solo pretty well alone alredy tested that on TC server. What im really looking to do with this build is destroy the mind with mind poison and fan shot.

Poisons are good for 2 things in PvE


1) Single poisons are pretty good for pulling 1 or 2 targets out of a group of 20. I have a single B poison experimented for range up to 48m. I throw this at the closest in a group, and usually ony one target comes running. Make sure you try no other attacks at the time.


2) MOBs with medium armor and/or high resists. A single poison C without any loot drop comps will be your best damage dealer, and this will only cause a smidge under 700 points of damage every 10 seconds (mine would cause 682 every 10 seconds in the hands of a master)


If you are fighting stormtroopers, they should be falling before there is one tick from the poisons. When pip fights force crystal hunters with medium armor and 80% resists, the poisons help out much more. Probably not as much as a master Swordsman would, but they do help.

master cm is definatley a waste of points.


much better to go at least 3/0/0/0 doc, with 4/0/0/4 combat medic.


being able to cure fire and do the /stand /curestate dizzy self macro is a lifesaver, especially when fighting high end pve mobs and melee in pvp. plus it allows you to cure poison. to get the 55 med use fire blankets and poison curesyou'll have to have them special ordered, but as tkm/ 4/0/0/4 combat medic, and 3/0/0/0 doc i can easily go toe to toe with a jedi,two if i use my venom poisons.


my pvp deaths come from:


20 percent poison/dis/fire dots


20 percent headshot


30 percent jedi


30 percentdizzy/kd

Well as far a tkm in pvp its very overrated if it was'nt for dizzy and knockdown this perfession would be nothing at all really. I dont think I would dablle in doc or cm if I was gonna mess with either id just master them. But hey if it works for you cool. I'm just gonna go master swordsman and master pistoler and maybe pick up another combat perfession if I feel the need. I wanted to just mass kill with the cm in large groups and use cm and pistoler vs bigger 1 on 1 things. But I guess cm works good vs weaker things but later on its not really that great. On the other hand pvp being able to cure all DOT's are nive with a heavy pvp DOT envierment. I would use that for sure if I was going pure pvp.
