So...while finishing the Corvette I decided to start throwing Area Poisons. I already had 40k medical xp banked. After throwing about 5 area's I noticed that I was no longer getting xp. Hmm....So I took the escape pod and then checked my med xp. Wow I'm now capped at 80k.

Some more notes....Any CM worth his salt can do the destroy mission solo. Just run up complete the mission and start AEing on your way out. Yes you will aggro almost the entire vette..but just be close to the zone out and you will be fine. BAM 80k done. in like 10 min.

One more thing..you can only do the vette once per hour..so maybe its not as good as it seems...but if you have a group of 5 you can do it 5 times in an hour

That's the slow way.

The cheese is to just hit a gubbur lair once, aggro all the spawns, spam area poisons until you cap. 5 minutes tops.

yeah, I moved my template around for a bit do to the lack of buffing docs and in the matter of about 20 minutes I built up a 0440 doc from novice by getting my pet to attack a lair. Most of the time was spent getting training.

Last I checked the FAQ had a great writeup on getting medical XP the CM way.

My whole reason for saying the vette was you might as well get something else out of your grind other than xp. Granted it doesnt drop everytime but 1:5 times you get a powerplant. I dont know about the other servers but here on Intrepid that's about 2-2.5mil.

And maybe i was just bugged but I completed the Vette got the mission again looted the codes in anchorhead then went back up. Took all of about 15 min (including travel) and when i zoned into the vette i was there for about 5 secs then got kicked out, along with everyone else in the group.

Thanks for your input

....and you still have to go back to the Village 153 times to trade xp, just to get enough force xp to fill one branch...

...and you still will end up with24skill points worth of totally useless FS skills if you plan to becomea jedi, and perhaps 18 useless skill points worth if you plan to stay medic/doc/cm.

I have already spent the 50k FS xps on the novice box. I have unlocked the Persuasion branch and I have tried the doc buffing and the alternate toon warcrying my droid route. This is far too slow. So my question is, will going 4004 CM to get the near highest Effectivness and the near highest med use allow for faster med xp gain using the repeated poison lair route?

Good question Tsu. The answer is, though I'm sure you've heard it before, answered in the FAQ

In short, you first want to grab the support line. It will increase which meds you can use. 0004 is your first goal. The effectiveness will increase how much xps you get per application of poison, so 4004 is a great start. Your speed of delivery will be slower without the 0400 line, and it may cause you to re-think your template, as the slower throwing might just prove to be too slow as compared to healing a pet/warcried droid/tumbler.

So what do we do on Dath to have the same effect? I mean, having to go back and forth to corellia really cramps my style and slows me down.

The ultimate quick jedi template would be Master CM (or Master Buffbot), 0100 Architect (gungan head statue is bombaad) and then 3 lines of Crafting and 3 lines of Healing. (or even 4 lines of whichever is the quickest)

Bam, padwan.

Of course... you'll need about7-10 mio credits worth of grinding material (not counting CM resourses), which might just slow things down a bit.

Get armour, get buffs, find some small creature lair and do the same as you would to gubburs.
