Hi guys, I want to be able to land Poisons and Disease's in PvP, But i do not want to craft anything .... whats the minimum amout of skills I would need to be able to throw and land the CM DoT's ??. Reason for this is I want to be Master Fencer/Doc/CM . This way I can cure DoTs that other players land, land my own and hit hard wth a good stun baton . Thanks in advance .

Good luck there. You're better off with TK than fencer anyday as stun damage with AP0 is sooo easily beaten by stun armor and psg's. DoT's will do more damage.

I'd suggest Being Master doc, or 4404 CM, rather than trying to balance the two with a master elite Melee. Splitting them up any more than that makes either prettin ineffective, in my opinion.

You've obviously never PvP'd against the noobs on Infinity........... by noobs I mean 90% of the PvPing community

There is pretty much no way you will be able to be an effective combat medic with fencer and doc. Not enough skill points. I recently completed a minor change to my template, and it is working great.

Master Rifle - Doctor 4/0/3/0 (good med. use and able to cure all states) - Combat Medic 4/0/0/4 ( able to apply some decent poisons and diseases).

You can sub. any ranged profession you like for rifles . . . I just like rifles.

I agree on the 4004 template. You miss out on mindheal, but get most of the bang on poisons if you find 75 cm use area C's made by a 12-point combat medic. I would rather spend the 14 points for doctor cures (cure poison at minimum) insteadof mindheal.

PvP is the battle of the mind pool. As a fencor you will not have a mind targeted attack. So 99% of the time you will toss a few mind dots, hope they tick fast/hard enough to get the mind down low enough so that your random attack can do the last incap hit. The only nice thing to say about fencor is that you will not get kd/dizzed as often as other prof.

With any melee class you will be at a 16 skill point loss over a ranged template. So as stated above you may want to go rifles. They have a great mind pool shot.

However, if you really do want to go with a melee class due to a play style then I would suggest swords. If you have lots of cash then I would do my best to get speed capped. With a nice hammer + speed + dots you will be sending peeps to the cloner fast as long as you can stay on your feet.

Well put Nemo ..... as you know a good stun baton is still great for PvP on infinity .... but as stated I do great when it's PvP with no DoT's ... but DoT's kick my ass . When I get my Doc 4xxx and CM ???? I will be able to hit back ..... (I Hope ). But thanks Nemo I will be giving you a shout mate for the IG Orders ... again thanks mate.

Someone mentioned rifleman/CM/etc as a decent PVP template which I cannot agree. I was a Rifleman/Doc/CM and without melee dam mitigation, I was getting spanked by jedi as well as TKM/Fencers who were close to impossible to hit even with my Dot'ed Dxr's, and many (On my server at least) carry some top notch acklay stun batons, which can rip through a shield Generator in a matter of seconds, leaving only my 39% stun composite. Also, without Dizzy, KD, posture down defenses, you willspend a ton of time on your back even with food. IMO, a MR, without at least some melee defenses is a waste of time in pvp.

Get a PSG with the condition maxed out and very low resists. I usually have 2 or 3 with 1800 condition but only 9% stun resist. The PSG alone causes a 50% reduction in damage from being AP1 and because of the low resist % its absorbing less damage and lasting much longer even when they usetheir scatterhit which hitsall three HAM's at once and grinds up most other PSGs. I had a 2200 condition 15% Imp psg prototype once that seemed to last forever.

p.s.- take Citris Snowcake, the chances to hit the defense stackers (which will be a thing of the past soon thankfully) go up substantially.

p.p.s- Yeah I'm on Sunrunner not Infinity. Most of the PvP'ers all haveawesome stun armor and PSG's. We just have to deal with certain loudmouthed Jedi.

That is why I like PvP groups

Melee go in and do their job, and we ranged folks stay as far back as possible.
