Hi, I've heard some rather wild rumours about the new venom drops and there have been talk of insane ticks and suchlike. Just as preparation for the coming storm (you know there is allways a storm coming on this forum) I thought I'd ask around about the top stats for poison at the moment.
What is the best poison out there these days?

on kauri i just made myself an area c with 512 eff. It was so sexy I took the girl into the bedroom..

On Gorath 900 legendary venom dropped. The pack(s) were named "Hi, I killed PvP".

Whats your opinion on legendary poisons that are named that and do destroy PvP? Well for the people getting poisoned anyways...

Oh god...
I do hope there wasn't a lot of it and that the pack wears out soon. I'm on Gorath, I'll keep out of PvP untill it's safe or grind Doctor fast as hell.

Yeah, I am on gorath and have seen these dots thrown at the big pvp events that happend outside the city where the DoTs reside. Nassty stuff.

i think I will create a new toon on gorath... jsut to see the nice ticks. Best tick I have seen on my server (Kauri) was a 1500 Area... As soon as we saw that tick, we were all yelling, and telling our doctors to get it off us.

my guild has this poison as does another. and you know what it did was 2 things.
1.make lots of people cry on their keyboards and the forums
2. facilitate the creation of 900 power cure area poison c packs. aka the cure for cancer. 290 poison resist C. also chor hor nolla with a power of 90.
one thing i noticed in a battle was hmmmm.... dps on this poison is 218.8 damage per second (the tick is 2188 and takes 10 seconds)
then i look to the guy that just master head shot me for 3400 with a t21.and wonder what his dps is on a t-21 that is roughly 2900 max damage.
basically loser cry winners adapt

Yea are boards are just anoying now everyone keeps complaining about it im a rebel i get hit with it all the time and dont care its like a cm work of art i love it

It's unbalancing sure, but probably less unbalancing then some of the exceptional/legendary weapons on some of the other servers. When was the last time you heard anyone brag about how fast they killed a rancor (insert medium-high levelmob)using onlypoison.

the poiison isnt realy that hard to counter i can usauly get 2 poison cures of without havla before it ticks and it only hits me for 188 or so which isnt bad.Its funny though on gorath how they complain about a 2188 tick every 10secsbut dont complain abouta rm with a 4k max t21 heading shoting you for 3k dmg every sec

Comparisons between Legendary poisons and legendary other weapons always end in flame wars
Same goes for calculating the DPS of a T21 and applying that to the debate.
I earned a good many of my posts (and a huge part of my one-stars) from posting suggestions to non-CM's to do the maths in one way or another.
