The title may be a little wawy;
- I've been reading a lot of posts in the CM forum, as I'm becoming a CM sometime; but:
- Somewhere I saw that a player wrote the following (losely quoted) "I've seen to many MCM and CM Dabblers that rely on poison alone".
What should CMs rely on? Should they rely on anything or a mix of everything?
Give me your tips on stuff like this
(And if you have any general CM combat tips, then feel free to post those too).
((Sorry for my bad English, I'm hungry (as in ... pizza))

My alt is CM/Rifle, and i dont pvp with him at all pretty much. All i carry with me is are mind poisons and single mind poisons and area stime for group hunts. I just dont see any use to use anything else with my current template.

I rely fairly heavily on my poisons as I am Master Pistoleer with 4/0/0/4 CM and 4/0/0/0 Doc.
So much so that typically I cant kill a PvP'er that has Doc in their template, and very often in 1v1 PvP fights we've had to settle on a draw.
/tt call it a draw?
[insert name] tells you : yeah, lol
Roll on CU.

You need better dots then bro. I'm a master rifleman, which is obviously THE prof to compliment your CM w/....however I don't really go for damage till towards the end - I have a 298 mind psn rifle and a 277 mind fire rifle. You huck psns and diseases while you run a state/dizzy/posture down macro w/ a mind fire rifle, and the next thing you know you got a guy flopping/burning/psned/diseased while you cackle like a maniac, scream "OWED!!!", and watch your radar for incoming jedi....

There's quite a big difference between pistols and rifles.
Dont think I'll ever scream "OWED" either... or "Owned" for that matter....

CM can be complimented with several templates. Both Master and Dabblers are still very capable of owning people in a battle. We are spending 181 SP to master a profession that leaves us with only 1 attack... /applypoison. Play what you enjoy, because if you play a really uber template such as Master Rifles, 4004 CM, 4000 Doc, you find yourself with only one worry, getting KD'd. And when you use burstrun food, u basically can own just about anything.

181? I think you overpaid by 12 SP.

i like cm cause it lets me be "ranged" i am a master fencer doc 4030 cm0004 i have had up to 4404 in my temp and had cm over a year dabbling in it here and there... i started as tkm and the 4030 and 0004 i like fencer better for fighiting ranged --
the above poster said that the pd flops a guy---- the pd does not"flop" anyone -- unless they stand voluntarily--a good pvper wont stand till the dizzy is gone or they have no hit at all
-- this is my most fun temp yet i was a pikeman master pistoleer 0040 and doc 4030 was nice for dizzy kd but lacked some of the range that i currently have with cm-- and rifleman ate me up cause i had the block which cuts damage by 50% but 100% dodging is much better i went fencer mainly for the ranged toons i go against.....
