Yay i just got MR/MCM combo recently!
Anyways
....my question is whether anyone knows if fs healing effects how fast CM's can throw thier stims? Just thinking ahead in case i wanna free up points for more fs skills.
This is my first post btw heheh although i frequently read the help guides and relevant posts that i need to.

I am unsure about healing stims, but DoT throwing speed was capped by the Devs a few months ago.

Yes, it will speed it up. The FS healing line impacts most everything but buffs. Think havla minus buffs.
The cap, as Pip mentioned, is 4 seconds which I dont think you will reach without Master even with the speed line of FS. It will be close, however.

So I'm trying to figure out which quest to take next phase and I'm thinking about healing, but need a couple of answers first.
(1) I have novice medic. If I get FS healing, can I drop medic, free up some skill points and then heal with stimpacks roughly equivalent to a novice medic? Or does that not kick in until I someday get Jedi healing?
(2) Assuming I do someday go for Jedi healing, does anyone know if FS healing augments that at all, or if it's best to supplement a few boxes of force healing but unnecessary for a Jedi specializing in it?

FS healing has nothing to do with Jedi healing powers. You need novicemedic to use it.
In general theFS skills (and skills from foods, SEAs, CAs, etc) work this way:
If you need to fill a box to use a /command like /heal or /survey then you need to have the box that gives the command for the FS skill to be used. FS Skills that are passive, for example Terrain Negotiation, can be used by anyone. You don't need Scout for TN skillsto work.
