Combat Medic Archive

I'm getting close and I'm wondering what people's opinion of the ideal weapon/armor/equipment is for a combat medic. Please post your responses.

I use a pistol (A heavily experimented Scout Blaster) because I don't feel I have the spare points to learn more than one weapon type, being that I plan to take that weapon all the way to master pistoleer. The pistol is an allpurpose weapon that'll do most things.

For armor I use a set of Chitin and a personal shield generator.The chitin looks neat, and together they provide an awfully high amount of protectionagainst both ranged weapons and melee attacks.

Other than those two things, I have a droid with a medical module (so cheap you can get them for pennies, I suggest getting one if you don't have one already) and my trusty Stim Ds.
