Combat Medic Archive

To anyone whose gotten both these professions (not so hard since they're reqs are within 1 skill line of each other), does the medicine skills for a doc let you use combat medicines? Does the medicine skill for a combat medic let you use doc medicines?

Basically, im wonderingif training up both medicine lines is redundant and a waste of points or required.

The doctor skill tree, is focused on healing wounds the combat medic even if use most of the same medical xp is focused on combat medic skills such as combat medicine use, ranged healing etc. and has its own crafting xp.

so they dont overlap at all.
