Combat Medic Archive

Okay help me to understand what all you consider Combat Medic to be.

I try to peg most of profession into type I can relate to. It's lazy practice I know but hey it works for me.

So here is a question.

Lets say that you just put JUST enough points to get master combat medic. And haven't spent single skill points into anything else.

What are you?

I see you have the word combat in your profession title, so are you a combat class? should you be equal to other elite/hybrid in PvP? PvM?

And you are also a medic. Are you supposed to be equal to doctor in healing ability? How about to master medic? I know it sound stupid since Master Medic is pre-req for CM, but I want to know what you THINK should be the healing ability of CM, not what currently IS.

CM = fielddamage healing + some unique PvP attacks

Seriously though...

I see CM's as the ultimate combat healer and stealth damage dealer. I've been seeing myself more as a support class than an actual solo'r as of late..but I think that has more to do with the fact that I like to throw blue balls of sparkling power in the air and make little skull & crossbones appear above mob's heads.

I know most Combat Medics HAVE to know how to find due to the grinding COMBAT xp. That xp takes a while to get so they have to be good using some kind of weapon

hmm you can't really peg it into a single slot. See, we HAVE to take marksman , so we already get combat skills, and to not take advantage of htat is a waste of points. It makes sense to pick up one other weapon to go with the ranged support.

I suppose if you want to put a class on it you could do some kind of war cleric. Heals and some Damage and weapons if you pick them up and use them
