Combat Medic Archive

Since release day, I have been working on becoming a bounty hunter. After the shear torment of the investagtion line, I dumped the entire tree 10 days ago(5000 Inv points from master). The reward vs time was just not clicking. I made Master Combat Medic 2 days ago.

First I want to give Kavedawg a big thank you for being one helluva correspondent. He appears to have played a lot of MMORPGs and knows what we need and what needs to be done and undone. I don't mean to knock anyone but go read the BH's correspondent ideas and you would see how lucky you have it. I truely feel sorry for that class and where it is going.

Second, I wanted to thank this section of the community. I am not sure how you did it, but it looks like you have shook off 90% of the asshats that play this game. You all appear serious and work together for the betterment of the class. It truly is amazing and I hope it stays that way. I could actually come to these boards and find information without having to read through 20 posts of worthless flaming. That means alot to me. I am used to EQ and having a strong guild that worked together and shared info. Looks like I have found that niche here.

So anyway, I am glad to be here with you all and just wanted to say thanks.

Ohh...and will someone please sell me some Eleton on Corbantis too!

First, congrats on becoming Master. There are few of us on any server, and its always good to see another thats made it to the top.

Second, I have to agree 100% with your assessment of the community. Other than the one complete asshat Ive run across (questioning if I could even use his poisons, even though Ive got my Master title popped out for all to see, not to mention another 5 minutes of just being an idiot and wanting to argue about skills =P), EVERYONE else has been great. I want to thank Voss Piety (St.Voss of the Holy Long Range poison) for mentoring me through some of the tougher times, and for even showing me a few tricks when I was discouraged that CM seemed to suck at PvP early on. Jacore and others get props also, for pointing an enemy CM in the direction of good resources or offering a word of encouragement about things to come at the Master level. The whole community helped, regardless of faction, and I appreciate it!

I try to do the same now for other up and coming CM's - so if youre ever on Tempest and need training or help give me a ring. I may not be the best Master CM out there, but darnit Ill try to help someone else get there even if I havent!

i just wanted to post a reply to say asshat that word rules and the community is great here i used to be a BH and it did kinda blow =( it sounded so cool too. ah well poisoning people rules more than eyeshot anyway

Combat medics have a great community. Of course there will always be the "Uber l77t doodz" who will forever and always be a pain. Glad your having fun and welcome to the combat medics . We have had two great correspondants (Zalor was never offical but major props go to him!) and Kavedawg has also done an amazing job.
