Thread: What stims/poisons do you always carry with you?
Eobard wrote:Ok, I'm a brand spanking new Master CM on Chilastra. Several questions I didn't find in the FAQ:-do you always carry the best ranged stims or do lower ones like B's suffice?
I carry Area Stim Cs and Single Ranged Stim Es, although Ranged Ds are good enough if you don't want to have to use 3 of each component for Es.-do you ever carry regular old run-of-the-mill non-ranged stims or do you just use your rangeds for everything?
I use Small Stim Es to heal myself. I have a macro that is /healdam self;. Just keep the stim in your toplevel inventory and it will automatically heal you without having to target yourself.-do you always carry the best diseases/poisons or do you use lower ones?
I just have the Cs, both single and area variety. Although I think some people carry lower ones because they stack.-do you carry diseases/poisons for all stats or just certains stats in particular?
I personally have a single and area of every pool for poisons and diseases, but I can honestly say that most of them have never been used in the months that I've had them. Only ones I've really used are Mind poisons and disease, and health poisons.-do you use certain diseases/poisons especially for PvE and others especially for PvP?
PvE i use health poisons because thats the pool that most people shoot for, and PvP is mind, because its unhealable.I think that about covers it, thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for the great responses all! I thought of another question.
What are the pros/cons of using area poisons and diseases vs. single target ones? Xytroncore mentioned using single health, action, and mind poisonsalong with area mind poisons and diseases - in what situations are each of those options used?
Thanks again!

I carry ranged D's, I would make Area C's but I'm not paying 30 cpu for class 4 liq petro so I'm only using the last of my ranged D's and that's it for stims.
I always have Single C heath, action and mind poisons, Plus area C mind poisons, and area C mind diseases...I don't bother with the lower versions of them because they blow.
And i rarely PvE anymore, so the only time I use my poisons in PvE is on a krayt or something when I'm on a guild hunt.

Why use ACDRM's in the area stims? As a doc the only thing that warents those are buff packs that I'm trying to squeeze every bit of power out of. I'v never used ACDRM's in any stimpack for general use, special perpous and just seein how high I can get it maybe but regular CDRM's are fine usaly. Befor I droped CM several months ago I usaly just used AreaC's. At the time they were enough for any situation and had the advantage of healing everybody that was hurt over there.

Well, you use singles against single mobs and areas if there is more than one. Singles have slightly more power.

Uh, an 800 AOE stim that will generally heal for 1800 on average is just that much better then the basic 500 AOE non advanced stim that'll only heal people for 1100 or so. Seriously, if you're not using ACDRM's in stims how exactly are you healing buffed people? I like using only one stim to heal someone rather then 2....plus, I'm not a doc, so I can only getcomponents half as good as you can, and with this upcomming nerf to crafting my med components will blow....so adv components will be the only way to make stims worth jack **edit** since I'm not wasting more god damn money and buying my components from docs, those price guagers can go to hell.
