Thread: A few questions for some Experienced combat medics who might have been TKM before.

The problem with Commando Doc is that there are not enough skill points to be a master doc and have flame 4 in commando.

I am currently a TKM doc and love to solo juve krayts. I used to be Commando Doc and found that I could kill a juve with burn in under 2 minutes but in order to have the commando, I couldnt be master doc which I wanted to keep for buffing.
So I switched to TKM doc and find that it takes me over 10 minutes to kill a juve and I also end up having to burst run after it to make sure it does poof before I can do enough damage to kill it.
Obviously the 70% kinetic resists of the krayt is whats taking so long here as the DPS output of the TKM is much larger than the flamer but the dragon has lower burn resists.
Heres where I'm going with this:
Somone told me that CM's have a fairly high damage output. With my 80+% comp and my buffs and foods I can tank juves pretty much indefinitely but I need to be able to have better damage output against them.
1. How would a CM work in this PvE situation?
2. Would Doc CM be a good combo of masteries for killing dragons?
3. I dont intend to PvP ever. How does the CM do damage?
4. What kinda of DoT does a master CM do with middle of the line crafted meds?
5. Any other tips you could give me before I give up TK would be useful, especially from anyone who USED to be a TK and made the switch to CM.

For PVE, a CM's damage output is very low. The quality of the poisons depends on the resources on your server. Typically a good single poison C will tick for 600 to 700 damage every 10 seconds. Unlike other combat professions, our damage is the same in PVE as it is in PVP. Your friend was probably basing his statement on having gone up against a CM in PVP. IF all you want is to solo low level Krayts, then Doctor (for the buffing) and Flame 4 in Command might be your best bet. As a Doc/CM you will make a nice snack for the Krayt (neither profession gets defense mods). If you can buy a set of buffs, or get a doc to go with you, then Commando/TKM seems a great combo for this.
