You don't miss with your Debuffs, but you will with your DOTs.

At what point do DOT's actually start sticking? If ever? I'm CM 1/x/x/x so far, (Going for Master, albeit slowly), and I have yet to stickmore than oneDOT out of 100-150 attempts.

I've didn't need to grind after the CU, so I haven't personally seen when the DOTs start sticking, but the general consensus on the board is that it is pointless to try unless you are a master. If you finished the tree with the DOTs and try sticking it after using shock, you are pretty successful too (I think).

dots stick at 0400 if you have enhancers and possibly the +25 MWE suit....otherwise they stick at master (from waht i have seen)

You'll start seeing bebuff's stick more around x/x/4/3 or x/x/3/4. Even then you shouldnt rely on it as you will still be around a 60-65% stick rate.
