Thread: Allright, CMs I may be heading in your profession. I need advice from a MBH though.

This is what I like to do most of the time......


50% - PVE, POIS, etc.


40% - Hunting Jedi (I know...I'm like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde)


10% - Pvping


Obviously, this is my alt. I've been a MBH for a good while. And I love the thrill of the h unt (where the 40% comes into play)! I have also enjoyed being able to heal people as my alt has a little bit of medic in its line.


I want to keep my MBH cause it's fun hunting the tough npc marks and Jedi of course. But what else should I get????


I've heard for Jedi hunting MBH/MCM + Pist 0004 for the def and stopping shot. Others say NO!! I should get novice doc for the wound healing and improved heals.


Can I get a MBH that is also MCM to help me out?

The wound healing is nice but not necessary. Wounds are few and far between except if you forget to store you clone data somewhere on the planet. The extra healing efficiency is nice but not necessary.


Pistoleer 0/0/0/4 gives you a root which is of utmost importance while fighting Jedi. Ever second doing damage to them while you aren't taking it means you are winning. Every heal you save or time between heals extended helps you win the fight. If the Jedi closes with you then pray he has crappy pearls/crystals or isn't a MLS. Snare isn't enough and is easily countered by force run. Root is the only for sure way of stopping them from reaching you.


So.....do you want 70 pointsadded to your heals or do you want the best movement inhibitor at your fingertips.


Personally, I'd rather go to the MO and get my wounds healed there by the local buff bot.

Ok lets put it this way, ya healing wounds would be useful, but you're not going to be doing it in the middle of fighting. Also while your debuff's are not really going to help againt pve, unless you're soloing a cl 90+ mob, they WILL help in pvp and against Jedi. Also your DOT's while a low and slow damage over time, it is not mitigated. They also give the other person something else to keep their eye on and worry about. Now you can have alot of fun as a CM in pvp, but in my personal experience, once the opposing force sees that you are a CM, they will try to take you down quick.

But then again, there is nothing like lobbing a fire/toxin at someone who is fighting someone else and seeing them run....till you root them of course

I have been an MBH MCM Pistol xxx4 since the curb with the exception of respecing several hundred times. Personally I like this template the best. MCM has the dots and the debuffs. MCM MBH is all about attrition kill their mind and force pool. Wounds, like said in the prior post go to the MO. Along with great debuffs and dots you have great heals, granted you get this with doctor too, however you are more efficient with the use of SP when going MCM. Personally the only other Temp I would consider would be an MBH MR CM 4xxx. But I have to say it is MBH / MCM / Pistol xxx4 all the way. There are many players guides for this template on this forum and the BH forum.

Hoturi, thanks for the input.


So would you say that the key is OUTLASTING the jedi through heals and dots/debuffs......cause the damage I do with pistols won't be a ton. And I 'm thinking if I stay in the melee range of the jedi, I'm dead.


what about a top 3 things to do when fighting a jedi (as a mcm).....thanks!

I would still like the top three things to do when fighting a jedi.


My first bh mission mark had 17k HAM, and I learned a lot as a MCM (I went ahead with the respec ).


I was able to shock, traumatize, hemorrhage, landing the various states. THen I was able to stop him with stopping shot from pist when I needed to - when I needed to heal whatever. I beat him after about 10 mins, and I felt good.



Next target was a real-life Jedi. He was quite harder, but we dueled for a good 10 mins before my mind ran out and wasn't able to heal anymore. I was using mind regen food (forget what it's called) along with crispic, tea, blob, and some other foods. I realized though that I needed added mind. Maybe I should have used my force crystal......


Is there other foods out there that can add to your mind besides the mind regen?


Main problem there...but it was FUN!!!

personnaly I went mbh mcm and 4000 pistol for the speed who cares about defense I out heal the damage as long as I can stay standing

Go with MBH/MCM/Pistols xxx4 It gives you more damage (deutrium toss, poison etc.) It also gives you tons of states to put on them (electrolyte drain, thyroid rupture) which slow them down physically or slow down theyre regen speeds on mind, action, or health, by far MCM is better than doc.
