Thanks to all who helped in my questions but i cant help but feel that combat medic pve wish is gimped worse than droid eng's. I realize that cm's get to shine in pvp but...... pvp on a non pvp server is random and sparatic at best.

are conclusions true or should i research something else?

Stick with CM

Depending on your method, CM's are very deadly in PvE. It takes us longer to kill a single mob than normal weapon users but we can kill multiple mobs at a time. I take on 2-3 storm troopers at a time by poisoning all of them and running away. Its not the best method but it works.

Shuey: Are you getting kill credits on them? Like FPs and the ability to loot the corpses when killing with poisons? I never seem to get that.

So farI wouldagree with that conclusion. In my humble opinion, I do think that CMs are seriously lacking in capability when it comes to PvE right now, and that the bugs associated with poisons in PvE make them virtually useless. (Most groups ask me to NEVER poison unless absolutely necessary so I don't screw up their loot/harvesting rights or deny them any XP if my poison happens to do more damage to the MOB than they did.)

I think others would agree and it did make it into the #5 spot on the Issues List for CMs, so it was recently sent on to the Devs as being a problem for the profession.

I'm not too sure that other professions are all that much better off right now, though. They all have their problems in one way or another. The question is which problems are you willing to deal with and if you think you can wait it out, how long do you think it will be before they get aorund to fixing the things you tink are worng with your chosen profession?
