Ok i'm about to switch over to cm, and get rid of my ch skills. I'm almost a master medic already, so it wouldn't be that hard to get cm. My question is, can a cm go solo, or does he have to be in a group?? I like the idea of poison and disease, but i don't want to be forced to go looking for a group every time i decide to go out into the wilderness.

Well... having massive healing skills helps solo alot. I personally dont like to solo because my skills really shine in a group. If you want to solo then better off just advancing to master medic and keeping some of your CH skills with whatever weapon you master. CM really dosent shine till Master. Dont expect to take down reds like you were as a CH solo. But if you are in a group then your massive healing ability will be much welcomed and I assure you a extreamly rewarding experiance.

right now im ch/cm, and i can say a cm is best in a group.

Think of it like this a cm gets:

Ranged heals onyl really good in a group or healing your pet from afar

AE range heals only really good in a group or multi pets

Poisions ive only had a chance ot use a's and i was pretty dissappointed.

I used a poision a on a flesh eating gub on naboo (very n00b mob) and it took 2 poisions to kill him

Havent used disease.

I do hear that pision c level will do up to 400-480 every 8 seconds with no advanced components. so we do have the possibility of killing a mob in pve.

As long as you have a method for soloing that allows for slow kills either by running around or by letting a pet tank for you then the CM is a decent soloer. The poisons kill slowly but if you can figure out how to last 2-3 minutes while your poisons eat away at the mobs then you can easily kill a whole lair of critters. There are a few non-ch pets with close to 3000 HAM which are great companions for the CM.

CM is great, but you spend most of your time going to different planets for resources. Atleast me and other CM's I know did. Spent most of time running around setting up extractors on different planets for resources for adv. components.

CMs can solo, just not against really high level mob. You'll run out of mind healing yourself before you kill something.

ya this is probably the most rewarding class to play in small-large groups. Was starting to get annoyed that the normal hunting party i was with never even thanked me for timely heals or just healing them in general...but was hunting with a different group on endor tonite...and well having some 7-10 ppl at various times thx you for healing them and saving their ass when they get low on health is gratifing after my previous experiences...and nothing can compare to our healing ability in large groups. Once you get AE heals (using B's now) you can keep them going for a long time. and when they fall down due to mind incap you just drag them too you. oh and i netted 40k med xp doing this for 1-2hrs too...

having a good pet...cowardly gurreck comes to mind...is good especially with the guard cmd...cause then you always have something to step in and gaurd you when the rest of the group is too engaged to help immediately. not to mention it can help cover incap players at your feet.

I also get more group invites with my CM title even novice than i do with novice doctor or a cbt title. especially on the fun planets like endor/lok/dant/dath
