Thread: Advanced components/ materials soem help needed.

if the advanced resources for advanced comonents are of really poor quality like about 100's would it be better to uyse those or high quality resources 800+ in normal components?

In my experience the worst resources in an Advanced component will yield similar results as you might get from the best resources in a standard component.


For example, I was able to determine (with 1000OQ Fiber and 998OQ/PE wheat) that the max possible quality of an Adv CRDM should be 20 (those resources produced a 99% reult with a power of 19). I've never had realy BAD resources for a CRDM yet, but the lower quality resources to yeild better results then that.


So consider top-end regular components to at least be on par with low end advanced components when determining if the extra hassle of getting the advanced resources is worth it.
