Thread: Time for a Combat Medic Nerf due to Publish21?
Dude CM's did not get our Beloved Adreniline Boost nerfed!
Sploiting, stacking, J3D-3Y3 did![]()
Also, getting CM nerfed will not make Mastering doc better then just going 4-0-0-0. CM's and Doc's should work together, not against each other.
Doctor buff= +25 speed
Jedi buff= +15 speed
Doc/Jedi= +40 speed
Try and tell me Jedi haven't influenced this in some way. ![]()
Easier way to have made this a non issue? Make jedi speed and doctor speed NON-STACKABLE

they are already working on that, and they are making it
doc buff +25
jedi buff +20
non stackable
sorry, i don't have the link handy, but i think this is common knowledge by now

what are your thoughts on this, IMO i think it is time to look at the combat medic debuffs and perhaps see if they are overpowered. i am sure alot could think so, after all their paralyse skill comes to mind off the top of my head first.
then of course we have a -40 to combat speed that even though requires a close range toss, it can easily be applied with other debuffs if paralyse is used first. the doctor profession as a whole when compared to CM as usefulness falls flat to the ground.
i dont mean to ask for the nerf bat to come swinging but if they are thinking our speed boost was over powered they need
to look closely at combat medic's debuffing.
Here is my post on a similar thread:
Did you ever think it was possible that SOE feels that possibly thyroid rupture wasn't harmful enough! Maybe they felt like there needed to be more of an effect of the combat slowdown? Also not many templates have too much trouble with thyroid rupture if they have speed over say 100.... Ill give you some data right here:
3 Test for base weapon speed of 2.50
Player Speed Mod Actual Attack Speed w/o Thyroid RuptureActual Attack Speed w/ Thyroid Rupture
1) 1501.431.54
2)1001.571.79
3) 501.872.33
Now as you can see the faster your weapon speed, the smaller the effect of thyroid rupture! So really since the average combat-centric player has a speed around 100+, then at most they will see a reduction of .2 secs.... or you lose about 1 sec of attack time each 5 attacks! The players who are really hurt by thyroid rupture are Single combat profession templates with low speeds as the player with a weapon speed of 50 loses .5 secs per attack or 2.5 secs per 5 attacks!
Thyroid Rupture truely isn't as big an influence as you guys think!
Also combat haste is different than combat speed! We are not reducing the effect of adrenal boost and force speed as much as everyone claims!
One more thing: Nerf paralyze?!? ROFL, we have the weakest Daze in the game.... have you ever heard of stasis and concussion shot? They last over twice as long as improved paralyze! Don't cry nerf just because someone with a MCM tag beat you, try to figure out why you lost and how to beat him.... and if that gets you nowhere (Im talking about if you put some real effort into trying to counter him) then talk about "balancing" the other profession! Dam* you losers get on my nerves (see my sig below)!

You have to take into consideration that CM's have almost no attack ability with weapons as their accuracy takes a HUGE hit in comparison to any other fighting prof. You want to complain about a CM's only offensive advantage when you freakin jedi can ....and I'll list them:
1 - Cloak, Heal, Force Run, Heal all states, Aura and Valor, have pre-cu sabers that do frickin ungodly damage, fighting while you kneel and regain mind and action, force powers such as lightning, choke, etc. Shall I keep going?
2 - Use exploits like having one of your buddy jedi's DB you instead of a BH doing it so you don't lose the fight and so the BH doesn't collect the bounty.
3 - You can drag mobs onto BH's so when they attack you (without AOE specials), the mobs automatically aggro on the BH.
4 - Use the LOS exploit and even though BH can do the same, you have a clear advantage on this because you can't be hit by ranged weapons.
5 - AFK xp grind on Kash on the Ryatt Trail which is complete crap and should be fixed as soon as possible.
There are quite a few other exploits that I have read about that jedi use to have their advantages. They are never freakin happy with the way the game is. They have to complain and whine like frickin babies until the devs nerf more professions and make EVERY profession absolutely worthless except for Jedi.
Be happy that you are playing the most powerful profession in the game right now asa Jedi, and quit frickin whining and crying every time there is a BH that beats you. Get over it, and move on. Maybe practice some more so you can win the next time.
Quit calling in the nerf team. It just makes the entire game worse every time it happens.
