I'm going to make a MCM, tank character.
My idea is to go MCM and take TKA as well....
This if for pvp mostly.
But it's on a rpg server, so i have to wear battle armor (stormtrooper armor)
Are there any skills i will loose from the TKA because of this?
And if so, would it be better to take another profession?
I just need to be able to heal, and get alot of aggro, and survive this. Not necessarily do much damage.
Also, how would MCM and MSL combine?

There is no point to go TKM if u have to wear armour as COB will not work if u have any armour and tk attacks are relatively weak. Go mcm/sword or pike instead. Mind you i have tkm/mcm and it is a very effective (pve and pvp)character without armour and great fun to play

I'm pretty sure CoB works with armor, it just doesn't work if you're using a Ranged weapon.

/agree. im mMedic and working towards mDoc/mTK too.
TK Innate doesn't work with armour.
Usually I have a pistol equipped if in serious combat, if I get agro'd (usually after a spray :s), to use CoB I must deequip my pistol, use CoB, wait til its fully on (As in the bar charged up and disappeared, AND VERIFY THIS BY MAKING SURE THE ICONS UP), then reequip the pistol and it works.
I say to make sure the icons up because I've had problems with CoB and I think its 'Cast' can be interrupted.
Also, I feel Item Armour is much better than TKM Innate's. Even though specs of both are a flat 6000 across the board, with layering Item Armour (during crafting, not put on two chest plates), you can better stack towards kinetic or energy depending on the targets damage type.
