yep no longer can you stick the best snare in the game on krayts.. gives the cannot apply this to krayts message now, of course didnt see anything like this stated in the publish notes that i saw. thats the nature of the game i guess.

I'm a CM dabbler. I went krayting today, and while I got my backside handed to me, I did use elec drain. I did not get the above message and the icon appeared under the krayt's HAM bar.

just went out hunting more.. turns out you can only have one snare in place now.. so as long as you just use E drain your still able to solo krayts.

I couldn't get two snares to stack either. MMM, love the smell of fresh nerf.

They "fixed" the snare stack a few publishes ago. When the CU went live, one of my guildmates (Rifleman) and myself (Carbineer/CM) would stack e-drain, cripple shot, and knee cap shot to effectively "stop" movement. A publish or two went by and we could no longer stackkneecap and cripple but e-drain would stack with either one.
I guess it makes some sense to not allow stacking snares (maybe on Pluto or the sun) since it allows users with snares to really slow high end content. I decided to pick on a few Nightsisters one night last week using e-drain, cripple shot and spamming suppression fire with full auto area... was funny to see them moving slower than I was walking.

True, no stacking of snares. I believe though, that this is what they intended from the beginning and we have been fortunate to have taken advantage of it up till now. We must simply adapt and overcome. Tell your snare-shot group mates to hold off on their snares until you get your's in first, since the e-drain is a much lomger lasting snare for sure.
