Hey, my jedi just got pimp smacked by a cm. Before I invest tons of credits and time looking for that quality defense tape. Can anyone confirm if defense vs poison or fire do work against them. (And I would think disease, but it doesnt look like any of your stuff uses disease). One attack does "say" poison and the other does "say" fire, but really, when does logic or precident matter in this game. Anyone able to CONFIRM that they work or dont? Thanks

Try the Chef Absorb/Resist buffs and Doc resistsbuffs.
You'll still have a hard time against a CM with +125 MWE and 1k+ Enhancers though.

What was your Jedi template. The problem might not be the fact that the BH was a CM. I've yet to see a MLS/MDf/healer3000/enhancer0002 lose to a BH/CM. Even with only 2 trees of LS the BH/CM still gets smacked.
It seems the ones with little or no defender, powers instead of LS, or those with no healing tend to be easier prey for anyone.

Actually as a MBH MCM, I find Defenders easier to fight as a MCM. Master Powers Master Lightsabers are very hard to beat with my template cause Im stuck trying to heal because of dps potential of those two templates put together! Also, just because you got beat by MCM doesn't mean you need to invest in tapes.... you just may need to rethink your strategy! Im also glad you came here and asked for advice instead of calling "NERF".

All the other Cm's and bh's ive fought have been speed bumps. He had +25 mods to all the cm and probabally carbineer skills. He caught me surfing the bazaar but still, I couldn't get ahead of his healing curve and he just wore me down. Think I'll just get some foods.

Healer 0203 are the skills that cure fire and poison. You may want to start there if you find CM that much of a problem. If it were me I wouldnt worry about it. Just continue on because not everyone is a CM BH. There are some but there are alot of different templates. Adjusting yours to fight one is a mistake.

As a MBH/MCM with some pistols, The Thing I fear the most is a Master pwers mark who knows how to use it. Last time I fought a master powers master lightsaber, I had fresh doc buffs, he had none, and I was stacked on food, even with thyroid rupture on him,I almost got caught in a healing loop several times. The only reason I beat him was the 80% speed buff difference (I had + 40 he was ruptured the entire fight) and the fact that I had a buddy on a bike on follow so he couldn't cloak.
