Combat Medic Archive

Was wondering if anyone that hit master after the patch are stuck with +90 combat medicine effectiveness as well. Also since Combat Medicine Effectiveness still has the same effect on everything, what was the fix? They mentioned that it would now affect our meds properly on the patch notes.

If you add up the total combat medic effectiveness from Novice Combat Medic all the way to Master Combat Medic, it does only total to 90. Some of the character builders and other stuff on the internet agrees with this value. So I'm thinking it's been this way all along, but it was just now noticed. I know I for one, just asssumed it totaled to 100 before the patch and didn't actually start looking into it until I saw the posts here about it being only 90.

Here is the breakdown:

Novice Combat Medic +5
Intermediate Ranged Healing Distance +15
Advanced Ranged Healing Distance +15
Expert Ranged Healing Distance +15
Master Ranged Healing Distance +15
Master Combat Medic +25

It probably should have been 100 for the total all along and the missing 10 appears to belong in Master Ranged Healing Distance to be consistent with other skills in the game.

This was probably an oversight by the devs that many people never really caught until now. I know I didn't really notice until now since now is when it actually meant something.

No, it was effectively 100 before patch...

A 270 Mind Poison pre-patch hit for 540 (+100% damage from +100 Combat Medic Effectiveness). The same Mind Poison now hits for 513 (+90% damage from +90 Combat Medic Effectiveness).
