Combat Medic Archive

Go to the cantina, tell the entertainers to spam their special abilities, throw these Area Stim Packs for massive xp. Is this supposed to work this way? I would prefer not to be able to get master in all my medical xp trees in an hour's worth of time, nor find medics that advance this way and cant heal worth a crap because they dont know how to in the field.

Without nerfing the heck out of medical xp, stuff like this will never change, just accept it and move on.

I cannot believe I never thougth of using aoe stims in the cantina...

How do you guys find time to do all the harvesting to get the resources needed to make the advanced parts, stims, kits, etc??? I'm jealous.

This isnt with advanced parts...thats the crazy part. This is just an AE Stim B. But as for finding the time to get the advanced resource parts...I waited till people started colonizing those planets and harvesting the stuff up. I buy from resource gatherers who put the stuff on sale and then turn the stuff into meds to sale and use. Currently just making the parts, since I just got into it. You should be able to pay people to brave the wilds for you to get the stuff you need. SWGCraft website is a great site to find what resources are available and what planets to scope out for good medical supplies. The easiest way to do it is to make a list of what you want to buy lots of, find out what planet it is on, visit those bazaars. That is also the most expensive way to do it.

I realize that is what I can do to get the resources, but the last time I checked the CM profession wasn't exactly raking in the credits to purchase materials. It's a shame that the casual gamer really can't play (and gettruly involved)any profession except a basic fighter class type.

I think you will find money in the oddest of places. Some will gamble and make a killing. CMs are wonderful for doing missions since they usually move up a combat weapon tree in Marksman or Brawler to get to CM. But I'd say that the most lucrative money haul you could do (since high survavilbility is part of the class) is to do resource gathering. Even at 3 cr per unit, find a good spot of ore or metal for weaponsmiths and you can make a killing. Myself, I do the pharmaceutical thing for money...which is alot of work but keeps my busy.
