Thread: Factory Trouble
Last night I made a schematic for some Area Stim C.I Loaded all the sub-components individually into the factory along with the Aluminum, Organic, Fiberplast and then activate the factory. A couple minutes roll by and I get a message on the screen that my factory has made 0 items. Baffled, I go to my factory to check the input hopper. All of the resources/parts were there minus enough to make 1 stim. Check the Output hopper; nothing in there. I then confirm the input hopper against the schematic. All sub components show the same serial numbers as listed on the schematic. My resources were the same as listed on the schematics. So I decided to try and start it up again. Couple minutes later roll by and I get the same result; 0 Items made. Earlier in the evening It made me some sub-components with no problem at all
Frustrated, I /bug this and logout. Someone mentioned to redeed the factory and place it back down. Sure that's all fine and dandy but it has about 80 sub components in it and my house is bugged so I can't drop anything! ![]()
Anyone have any similar issue with their factories post patch?

hmm, so it isnt jsut my factory. my workaround that i found it just wait till the next day, but of course that is very lame.
Nah it's not just you. I had one factory that would not work at all and another that took 3 times to get to work. Then when I moved the schematic from the non-worky factory to the working one, I busted the one that did work.
Factories exist to torment the crafter. Convenience? I scoff at you! ![]()
My factory screws up 3-5 times daily.. only reset seems to 'fix' it for 5 minutes.. CM is becoming slightly useless.. Can't craft even stim-d's w/o my factory <sobs>
hmmm
oddly enough, the Factory that I share with Texxie seems not to be afflicted by the problems everyone seems to have.
Once in a while it has a problem pulling from crates, but simply restarting it usually fixes that. I made a bunch of rangedC's, and Tex made a bunch of StimD'slast night just fine.

Watch out what you say. Murphy and his law may come along and kick you in the booty like he did to me. I was telling someone yesterday how I had not been having the problems everyone was talking about and then later on in the day, BOOM, I got factory cooties.
So be careful ![]()
