just made a health poison C that does 551 damage a tick.
Stats are:Potentcy: 70
Effect: 290
Range: 27
Required Use of 58
35 charges.

You want Effectiveness at least 263 or so to get 500 or more damage per tick. Then you can go either way regarding more range for your poison ora higher stick rate (potency).

what quality resources are you using to get them to tick that high? most i have been able to get is about 132 on effectiveness and 90 on potency if i split my exp pts. (5 to ease and 5 to effect)

I also have Expert Medical Crafting from the Doctor line. That makes the mediocre advanced resources I gather a helluvalot better than what a non-Doctor-crafter can make. My component stats are as follows:
Advanced IA: Power 46
RC: Potency 25 / Duration 10
Advanced DM: Charges 12 / Effective Range 12 / Area 12
Currently have a fungus that is mid 850 OQ 866 PE, a Liquid Petro that is 727 OQ 587 PE, and an aluminum that is OQ 904 CD 775. This yielded a 91 Potency and 272 Effectiveness with a range of 30 meters...or thereabouts.
