For poisons and diseases how much do the sub-components matter? Im using basic resilience compounds and such and getting about a 77 potency 207 effectiveness using a crappy fungus.

Anyway, do the extra experimentation points granted by Novice doctor really make that much of a difference in the overall quality of the poison/disease? Thanks alot for any help you can give!

Potency is increased on about a 1:1 ratio from the Potency rating from the Resilience Compound. Effectiveness seems to also be on a near 1:1 ratio with the Power rating on the Infection Amplifier. Actually, it would be a good rule of thumb to just go with a 1:1 ratio from the component applied to the respective stats of the final poison.

How much does it matter? For each point of Effectiveness that you increase the poison (by using a good Infection Amp), you actually get 1.9 pts of damage tacked on. My IA's jumped about 20-30 pts when I switched from regular to advanced ones. That means up to a 57 pt increase in damage...that's huge. Bumping the Potency to the max in the Resilience Compound allows a better stick rate AND being able to use more experimentation points for Effectiveness.

How much do components matter? A great, great deal.
