i really love to become CM... i love the ranged heal and all and all.. but poision nerf scared me alot..
note: im capped, so i need to surrender all my skill to become CM.. thats why i dont want a risk..
pls help fellow CM..
thx
There is no reason they would nerf combat medics.
For example, in mind damage, pit a combat medic against a bounty hunter who Eyeshot spams. Pit 10 combat medics against 10 bounty hunters. Do 10 combat medics against 5 bounty hunters.
Outcome is the same - Bounty Hunters win. Eyeshot does nearly 5 times the mind damage over time.
Exactly. You have people who want to whine about CMs, but most of them simply don't do the math and don't compare Poisons to Bleeds. Let alone pull in the statement that a plain-jane Master of a Marksman Profession shouldn't be a match for a plain-jane Master CM because they used a heck of a lot less skill points to get there. (Dev statements hold out the belief at SWG that those who've spent more SPs to master a professions should have some leg-up on those who spend less.)
Overall most of those guys just don't take things into account that usually the Devs will try to. Like DPS. CM Poison DPS is actually rather low compared to most other forms of damage. Poison also has a direct counter in taht it can be cured before it does ANY damage at all. Even a bleed shot does at least some damage, so with the FA fix coming thorugh, even if a bleed is cured on the first cure, the Doc will still have to follow-up at some time to heal the damage, more than likely. And most Poisons will almost always be short range compared to a ranged weapon. Bleeds, IMHO, outclass poisons any day of the week, but nobody complains about them, and I still can't figure out why. (Not that I think bleeds should be complained about, mind you, but wondering whythe people who do complain about poisons aren't also complaining about bleeds.)
So, no. I don't see a Nerf coming for CMs in taht respect. Now I DO expect to see some fixes, such as that being able to disease a corpse, thing. But that's a completely different topic, even though I think fixing that will at least allay some of the whining we get for a tactic that it somtimes just bad sportsmanship, or sometimes just accidental (AoEs don't care what they hit.)
thx for the input..
hmm.. what is the best to be craft to gain quick xp for medcial crafting xp?
