Thread: Which skill to take first?

I can train novice today. My question is, if I only have enough skill points left in my templateto train novice and one skill, which should I take? Taming I or Training I? Or is it Management I so I can buy a better pet to use as I train up?

I've searched for this I promise.

My other question is, do I need another skill box to make it even worthwhile to dabble in CH, since non CH can use level 15 pets now?

I'm all confused I realize. With BH getting a 30 second timer on knockdown, I don't believe I'll be able to kill anything else and have to give in and take some CH.

So how much CH do I actually need to be worth going above Novice CH?

Unless you buy a pet or have another CH teach the trick command, you'll want to get Empathy I pretty early.

Taming and Training I both need to be boosted in order to tame and call a CL25 pet.

After that, probably work up to Management 3 to get2 pets out at once, which allows you to almost double your exp rate.

... That's the route I took, anyway...

If you get taming, you can tame up to CL 25, if you get training, you can call up to CL 25.

You need to both these days. They mesh.

I suggest Management and if you can squeak another one out take on Taming 1 - those two need to stay as even as possible so you can control what you tame

Hmm, so to tame, call, and manage a level 25 pet I need taming/training/managemt I?

Am I better off buying an already tamed level 25 pet and just having training and management I? Or can I do that with just training I? Or management I?

Why management 1 it gives you no bonuses at all.

I always say start with Tame one the manage to 3.

Ok, now I'm confused. Do I want taming and management or taming and training?

I thought management just lets you handle more than one creature.

I just want one tank creature for a pet. So it looks like tame I and training I are what I'm looking for I guess.

Management 3 gives you the additional pet to call out - I took up management to 3 first, then took taming to 2 and then empathy 1 so they would stop asking me to play

I plan on becoming a master CM with the two tiers of doctor needed to use revive and enhance packs.

I read the FAQ in progress, where it's said that the best way to level in CM is to first get support and then the other tiers, which makes sense to me. However, if you also want that bit of doctor, would you recommend to work on the doctor skills first and CM later?
