The effects of BF gain are cumulative...you will not see them early on. After a couple of tics of wounds, you will see the target getting more and more BF and more and more wounds. Try experimenting with another player and be patient.

Does it work at all? Diseasing secondaries in pve, i mean. I took an aakuan champion as my guineapig and diseased his all secondaries. After a while i throwed a test health disease (eff 90). After 40s champion took 180dmg to health which means that diseases on secondaries haven't had any effect on his bf... But if u disease all primary ham bars, then the bf raises as it should. (used a formula which i found from the forums)

So what kind of diseases ppl use if they say that their diseases do 3k dmg in a while? I remember reading that some cm takes an elder in 5 mins or at least very quickly. How is this done and how good poisons and diseases u need? With several poisons and diseases which are made using spider venom?

NPC's don't have any secondaries. They are set at 0 and do not regenerate at all.

As paddy said earlier, the BH is cumulative. However, the actual amount of BH per tick is very negligible. Even after a while its still pretty sad. Disease would almost be worthless if it didn't cause incap's in PvP. For PvE save it for the extremely huge stuff.

If you have Disease for all 9 stats, and strong single A, B, C for one main stat you can kill a DJM in about 12 minutes. BF is essential for killing high end mobs with disease, and the quicker they get to 1000 BF, the quicker they die.

Thank you for your answers!

So diseases for secondaries are for pvp only. And in pvp u cant do dmg with disease that affects buffs so they are useless, right? Or almost useless... their only purpose is to raise bf in pvp.

OK, but my question was about pvE not pvP. The point was HOW good diseases are worth using in pve against hi end mobs. I'm master rifleman too, so i can do pretty much dmg with my rm skills. Heh, the answer could be when u can do more dmg with diseases than other skills... but how good diseases and poisons are you using in pve?

And poisons dont raise bf and they dont reduce ANY resistances of mobs when they are at 1/32000 Health, its still 100% energy or whatever in case of ns spellweavers for example.

PS. just came from a bar... so excuse me if there is something silly or weird... This round is for me! =D

I only do diseases in PvP if people piss me off.

A master doc with good woundpacks can cure 1.2k wounds at a time. Takes a little longer with mind wounds.

I only use disease in PvP with elders, krayts, etc.

Poisons wirk well in PvE with high resist/armor mobs with lots of HAM. Otherwise, conventional weapons will out damage you.

Thats 27 packs you're talking about all together. 54 if you include area's as well as singles.

Yeah the little extra damage 1 or 3 packs is ok but it really ought to be alot higher. Course, I don't see any entertainers complaining about it.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The DJM that I was talking about in my post was a Dark Jedi Master NPC. They have lightsabers and hit far too hard for someone to tank them.

What I do is go out with a squad leader as a CM and have him turn on a retreat macro (constant burst run). I then toss 1 disease for each stat but mind(health, str, con, actoin, quick, stam, focus, willpower) and a Venom Mind Disease Single A, B, and C (for some reasons singles/areas only stack in PvP, not PvE).

I simply burst run around for 10-12 minutes kiting him around while the mind disease ticks away, I toss one poison to give him some mind damage so he will incap when he gets to full mind wounds. DJMs have 450k ham and are the hardest to kill NPC in the game.

I thoughtthat Jedi Sentinels are stronger then DJMs?

They are, but sentinels have 1.2 million HAM and are on the same loot table as meatlumps, which makes them a waste of time to kill.

DJMs are the highest level mob that drops good loot.
