Thread: prices for diseases, poisens, stimms

i know i cant compare my server with yours. other population of cms, other ressource spawns, but still... i have virtually no idea what to ask for my poisens.


so dont give me any answers about how useless this thread is. plzz, just state me the stats of your packs, and the prices you ask for them.

area poisen C, eff arround 230, i aks 55k

same for area disease


area poisen B, eff 160, 45k

same for disease.


ranged stimm A , 310 healing 3k

area stimm C, 900 healing, 15k

Good question. When I was a Bio Eng. there was a basic standard formula for pet stims and other things that every one followed then added or subtracted X amount due to various reasons. Is there any formula for Doc and CM items or does everyone just pull a number out of the air and see if it will fly?

As mentioned above the value of cm meds on each server is independent of the other. I suggest asking other cms on your server how much they charge and scale yours according to their price based on quality. Heres what I charge on my server.

Single target poison C 20k
50 charges
141 potency
348 eff
43 range

Area poison C 22k
48 charges
141 potency
248 eff
43 range

after the sologroup nerf, i am interested in your prices again. if you havent posted yet, how much do you ask?

if your prices have been influenced by the nerf, please, post what has changed

Prices are going to vary on server economy and the poison/diseases themselves. Does your server have a large CM community?


For the items themselves you'll have to figure in the charges and the potency as well as the effectiveness. A 500 effectiveness poison might not sell that well if it only has 15 charges and 99 potency or sell for less than a 250 effectiveness with 45 charges and 190 potency.


The problem with CM vendors is that its a rarity as opposed to Doctor vendors which are sprinkled all over the place. You're really going to need to play around with the prices to see what sells and what doesn't or find and visit other CM vendors and compare their prices.


Prices aren't governed by what you want to sell them by but rather what the customers are willing to spend regardless of the profession.

As for me my base rate is about 5K per level C single 6K per level C area. All my stuff is usally around 43 uses per and either maxed for EFF or POT. The problem I have found with pricing is with biles, on my server the range I pay for these can be next to nothing to 100K per exceptional jars. So far I have yet to find that, "right price to sell these". All in all, I try to offer other CM's on my server the best product I can make using server best resources at the lowest cost.


If anyone has a nice spreadsheet that they use to help with theiractual porductioncostsI would love to use it. Ideally it would have some type of collums for cost to craft, fact runs, resource costs. etc. I have found some stuff out there, but not for our prof. This could really help me understand the actual costs of making what I make.
