Not really a new CM, done it a few times before. But was given the packs to use. I am pretty new to CM crafting butnot to crafting in general though.I bought my way to being a 12 point CM with great resources on the back of my architect business.

I am curious about stats on the components for CM.

Currently I am able to make an AIA with power of 56. An ADM 22 Charge, 19 Range, 12 Area. I tried to experiment two different ARC. One is 51 potency 107 duration, the other is 72 potency 66 duration. Am i experimenting the correct lines for each one of those? Is it better to have duration over potency?

Any advice from the old time crafters out there?

The Infection Amplifiers are easy. Those are decent ones, but only one line to experiment in.

For Resilience Compounds, potency is more important than duration...especially against resist buffs. So max out the potency line, and then put anything left in duration. Duration only matters against creatures like the Gorax, NS Elders, DJMs, etc.

For the Dispersal Mechs, you've got pretty good stats. However, make some that are maxed out on area for sale to docs. And then you can also make some with the charges/range maxed out for use with non-area poisons/diseases. I usually made three sets of them for these reasons.

Check the threads on this page titled advice plz and experimentation question. There is some talk about it in there.

Personally, I have never run into a problem with duration on my DoTs. I always go for potency.

on the ARC, maxing potency is better 98% of the time. However if you are fighting high end MOBs (DJM, NSE, Ancient Kyrat Dragon, Gorax, ect) youcan make a case for higher duration.

might want to have a backup with high pot though, I have gone through 30-40 low pot, high duration before making one stick to high lvl stuff, and no thats not becausethere was already one on it.
