Thread: Target Problems...
I don't know if anyone has posted about this but I haven't seen it yet... I'm not trying to whine, just want some answers and input.
Since this recent patch, I'm having the most aggrativing time throwing my ranged/area stims because 'I cannot see my target' when my target is indeed only 20 or so meters away and I CAN see him. It turns out a log or a small rock the size of my foot is in the way and I have to move around it to 'see' my target. I might as well be a master doctor instead of a master combat medic if I have to move. It's nice to be able to stand in one place and heal people instead of running after them. What's the point of throwing stims when I would have to move anyway? Is every CM having the same problem or is it just me? I know they did away with it because we were able to heal people through walls and I'm fine with that...but a rock being in the way...come on now..
They should have it where its only walls we can't heal through.
I just wanted to see if any of you guys heard anything that would change this. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah. I thought this was just me. I have a crappier video card and thought maybe my perspective was off. I could not even target an NPC the other day when he was down a slope from me.
I noticed this as well last night on a hunt with my PA. Was really disheartening to see a LoS on our heals.
I just don't see the point of it. For disease and Poisons I can understand but not on heals. Probably a bug and will get fixed 6 months from now.
I'm betting this is an intentional change, and it disappoints me terribly. Really erodes our superiority over regular master medics in my book. Especially in tight situations like fort tusken.
