I am new to CM and nearly done with the horrible grinding to master. I am probably the worlds worst at crafting and need some advice.

Which is the best area stim to use bearing in mind cost to craft against combat effectiveness?

Are advanced components required to make good poisons/diseases, what values do a good poison/disease have?

Do crafting tools make a big difference, if yes what makes a good crafting tool/station?

Would appreciate if someone would answer these questions and add any other good crafting advice for a new combat medic

Thanks

Are advanced components required to make good poisons/diseases, what values do a good poison/disease have? Advanced Components provide an insane boost to you poisons and diseases. A 55x70 ARC will boost your potency to a base of 98-100 vs a basic RC at 21x15 making a base potency of abround 50-60.

Do crafting tools make a big difference, if yes what makes a good crafting tool/station? Yes they can help decrease the rate of failure. For grinding you will not need a crafting station though.

Would appreciate if someone would answer these questions and add any other good crafting advice for a new combat medic Setup 6 Food and chem crafting tools from left to right in the top bar using a separate panel. Have 18k Lok wheat and 18k Tat Fiber in your main inventory. Once you go through this macro you will notice the message "Crafting Station has ended". Don't worry about it this macro is automatically skipping the practice box after you load the resources but you still get the XP.Also I would recomend if you plan on hotkeying this Macro to put it in the Shift F12 button of the panel.

You can use this macro while you are running from point A to point B, during some downtime and even crafting stations or droids will not affect this macro as it skips the experimentation and practice screens.

One thing to keep in mind, I would not recommend copying and making this macro go on for longer than 6 crafting tools. One time I forgot I was overt and was using this script. I got jumped by some Imps and had to wait till the script ended before I could defend myself.
