Thread: Which tree's to fill first?

I'm new to the profession and was wondering what the more useful and powerful tree or tree's are so that I might concentrate on those first and hopefully they will help me to level up the others faster.

From what I saw during my climb to the tob in CM, the Support tree needs to be done first (at least the first 2 or 3 boxes of it). The CM meds tended to have high combat med use requirements, and with the lack in experimenttion points it was hard to get them reduced to a usable value.

After that, you will want to progress the Speed tree first if you intend to be a medic or healer. If you want to go for the combat role and use poisons, get the Range tree before the speed tree.

The crafting tree is slow, but you will need to get to the top of it. If you have a chance to carft take it, this tree will be the slowest to advance and the bigggest barrier to making master.

going upt ot support 4 first will allow you to use area stims, which will GREATLY help in getting the xp for the other two branches.

The method I have suggested to other CMs on my server is:



  1. Support 4

  2. Range 4

  3. Speed 4

Then of course get some crafting in where you can.
