Thread: Mind heal bug? LOL

heh...well


I used mind heal to heal my rebel troopers, and I know it was gonna hurt...so I was extra careful, heh


so now I have 749 mind wounds, 761 focus wounds, 780 willpower wounds. I have 1100 mind, 950 focus, 950 willpower...


so I go up to my trooper, and I try to use mind heal, right?


Instead of saying "You don't have enough pool points!"


I wasINCAPACITATED!!!

Yep. It doesn't account for how much damage the wounds will cause. For example, if the mind heal will cause 200 base mind damage and 40 mind wounds (for an extra 40 mind damage), it will tell you you don't have enough mind at 180 healthy mind (180 - 200 would incap), but it will let you do it at 220 mind (220 - 200 is positive). The problem is, then you do it at 220 mind, the damage takes you to 20, then the 40 new mind wounds will take you to -20. So you get incapped.


In other words, don't do a mind heal at low mind.

hint... don't call this a bug, see my post on the 1pt poison cap, workaround.... don't let this out or we'll get nerfed again...

i reported this back when it was still in TC, but noone even bother to comfirm if it's a bug or it's intended.
