Combat Medic Archive

I think healing from a mount definatly needs to be added. Those Docs and Medics who are playing as the groups medic have it hard with the 6 or 7 M range fortheir stims. If they could use them from mounts they would be far more effective.

I'm guessing the reason you can't heal from mounts is to prevent kiting, yes I know that stims don't do damage, but poisons do. Since poisons use the same timers as stims, I'm thinking that they go through the same code. Meaning that if you can use a stim from a mount, you can use a poison as well. This should be correctable, its justa matter of will the Devs do it or not?

Well as the title says, i beleive this to be the first step in the right direction for the CM proffesion if implimented, please post herre with agreement to get everyone to see it

I'm not saying we have to able to do everything on a mount but just the ability to use ranged stims from our mounts, after all we are a combat medic and what use are we if we cant heal when we are on top of a creature.

Heck, I would be happy if I could just heal myself.

I would at least like the ability the heal myself.

Perhaps healing from a mount can be a master level skill for Doc and CM. This would give the master Docs and CMs some added worth at master.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. I am only a Novice CM. But in my first days of being a CM. I find it hard to heal especially from the mount. I accept that I am a Novice so there will be a delay between heals. But toi have to jump off my Kaadu every thousand meters just to heal while in battle is troublesome and dangerous. Last nite I lost 3 members of my hunting party just because I have to dismount to heal.

If the Dev's have a heart. I hope they will see their way to giving us this ability.
