Thread: AOE poison thrown on NPCs not affecting overt faction players

No I was covert, with a TEF, and I threw a AOE mind poison on a NPC stormtrooper, and the overt Imperials next to him did not even have to resist it, it just skipped over them. Just curious, never had that happen before.

If they were blue to you then you couldn't attack them until they attacked you.

I threw an AOE poison on Faction NPC's and it was not hitting the Overt faction player next to them. Has this never worked? I seem to remember it could before.

were you overt? I've landed AE Poisons on NPCs outside an Imp faction base with an overt Imp standing right next to them. Since I was covert, they did not agro or give me a TEF.

There are some bugs with areastims and faction NPCs, so it wouldn't shock me if there were bugs with area poisons and faction NPCs.

If you could ever do this before, and they had not specifically attacked youbefore hand it was a bug and an exploit. Coverts are not supposed to be able to attack anyone without a specific defense tef (having been attacked by them or someone in your group was attacked by them.
