Thread: STEALTH NURF! WARNING!

Just so you know their was a Stealth nurf on combat medic and rifleman and any job that used root skills with combat medic root skills.
I am combat medic / rifleman. I would use Electrolyte drain with knee-cap shot, To slow down my mob! Well now they don't stack, so thank SOE for another stealth nurf...

they havent stacked in a while. i dont think they were ever intended to stack.

They never stacked before, then they started stacking, now they dont stack.


There have been 3 posts on this before this guy and without giant caps.


Is this a nerf? Not really. Snare works like its supposed to including vs. creatures.

I think they should stack, in concept they don't do the same thing. The best example I can give is if you shoot a guy in one of his legs, its going to slow him down. If you shoot him in both legs, its going to slow him down more.

Try stacking them. Just try it. It was possible before, now it's not.

cripple shot DID in fact stack on top of the electrolyte drain of CM ...



it was a very effectivetactic i used when hunting krayt dragon .. it would reduce their speed significantly ...



now when trying to apply cripple shot to a mob which already has electrolyte drain ... you get a " no effect" message and it will not stick ....


i would have to agree that i would guess the stacking was not intended ..but it was only corrected because of the fact combat medic is being used against jedi ....


it was a very valuable ability in fighting a master defender master lightsaber weilder

you are not able to stick 2 snares because you are not suposed to

it was a bug when you were able to stick 2 snares along with the buffing bug

it is now fixed

Im sure they were never intended to stack and the issue is now "fixed". (that seems to be a relative term in this game)


But, i agree with whomever said that they should. I can understandnot being able to stack two related snares (2 ranged/2 melee/2 medic)or any two from the same prof for that matter. But,these ARE completely unrelated. One is physical and one is physiological, as well as being from two different professions. Everycombat seems to have virtually the same exact attacks, its nice when you run across alittle bonus just from combining the right profs together. Oh well,doing that may add a littlebit of depth to the game and SOE would not want to headdown that slippery slope : /
