Just as the title says, I want to drop my weapon down to lvl 1 (if i do i will have to use pistol for speed i think) was wondering if...

1. can you have NO weapon in hand and still use poison/disease?

2. If you can, does it affect to hit, and does the weapon you have in hand affect the chance to land a poison/disease?

Basicly, I want to go cm with a 3/2/0/0 ch to get the mauler graul... and if i have to drop the dot for it i figure i might as well max out ch tng and tame to get some insane creature... figure ranged healing + poison + aoe poison + really obnoxious pet would be a good combo...

Thanks you in advance for any thoughts you might have on this.

1) Yes, you can have no weapon in your hand to use poisons and diseases.

2) Weapon skillsare totally unrelated to landingpoisons and diseases. Your poisons and disease packs will always hit the target. Potency, however, will effect how often the packsget resisted.

Your build might be a bit weak in PvE offensive capabilities. A single graul with along will poisons will not equal the offensive firepower of an elite combat profession. You will, however, have excellent PvE defensive capabilities.

I would suggest that you macro aim with warning shot just in case you have to case away some obnoxious critters.

Don't need a weapon just aim and throw, and no, not having pistol doesn't effect the poison.
