Seems like with the new up and coming weapon speed cap the best way to go for a CM would now be pistoleer. The heals that are in que will come up much faster with a .5 max speed of the pistol as opposed to a 3.0 of rifle and im guessing 1.5-2.0 of a carbine.

Thoughts?

...Could always go unarmed

Heh, but as a Co-Master, Pistoleer has always been a great choice

Sadly the post is right, the ONLY way to go is pistol, which of coarse i just gave up fro carbine (3/4 till master)

Or i'll probably take up a another spec.

Why is going pistol any better then carbine (as far as speed concerned) ?
Pistol will be 1 sec, Carbine will be 2 sec, it's not that you can heal that fast anyway

Your heal delay is based upon your weapon. Currently if you have a 1.7 speed pistol and use stoping shot it has a 4x delay mod built into it. so you have to wait 6.8*(1-(pistolspeed)/100) seconds for you to be able to heal or fire agian. This is were you are not ready comes from. Curently all guns are caped at 1 sec not sure where that is applied though. In the future Pistols will be caped at .5. So if you want to do the highest damage/s and fire off lots of heals or poisons the pistoleer is the only way to go.

even if you peace out, you still have to wait out the delay to heal. Actually i think you might not be able to peace out until the delay is over. Not sure off hand.

Yeah, since peace is part of the combat queue, you have to wait for it to take effect anyway.

In my experiences as a combat medic healing is key as well as whipping out some poisons at the mobs for increased damage. I only have up to expert carbine ability and the delay to get heals off compared to when I am not shooting is huge in my opinion.

What I have found best is to not even use any gun and get some creature handler so I can use my Graul Mauler pet. It hits for 360, has over 9k ham and killer kinetic absorbtion. Talk about having your own personal blocker while you lob stims like a QB.
