As many of you are probably aware the new Correspondent forum is set up for private access. As such I am currently limited in what I can pass along until I get some definitive responses on what I can pass along.

So what I can pass on for the moment is simply this. At least some form of communication is occurring. I just can't go into details, but at least you'll be glad to know something is happening and issues appear to begetting heard. I'll elaborate further whenever I can.

Go get 'em Z. And find out when you'll be given a break and not have to pull double duty

Hooah!

I for one don't mind too much (as long as it doesn't overwork Zarlor) having the combined Doc/CM correspondant. I am going for master in both professions and would suspect that in the maturation of the game, that docs and CM's will have a more symbiotic relationship, and that it's much better to have someone who understands the capabilities and limitations of each rather than a Doc correspondant and a CM correspondant sparring about which profession should have state heals 8).

Thaks for the update!

I strongly disagree that Doc/CM can have same corresponded.
While many issues are the same, there are issues that person with Doc best interest in mind will advocate when they are not neccesary in CM interest
(example: request to make poison cure packs more powerfull that made it to CM issue list somehow, while C cure poison packs remove even most potent poison C with just one application and much faster then it ticks).

Umm.. that made it to the list because you guys put it on the list. Go back and read those threads and you'll see. I personally would never have put that on this list, since I consider it a Doc issue, and not a CM issue.

Besides if you C poisons are being cured in one application, that means the Doc has a heck of a lot better resources than you. Most reports of testing I ahve seen where all resources used are of a similar level it requires 2-3 applications of a cure poison to counteract a same level poison. Toss in the AoE factor and a Doc is SERIOUSLY outclassed by, instead of balancing to, a CMs abilities to DoT.

That being said, I would rather we have a seperate CM Corre as well. I've admitted plenty of times that I haven't been able to nearly commit enough time or effort to working on the CM issues as I have for Docs. I was offered CM if I wanted it, over Doc, but I turned down the offer because I do consider myself a Doc first and CM second. (That's NOT to say I think Docs should hbe better than CMs, mind you, actually the opposite, since the extra skill points required in the CM prereqs should give CMs an edge, such as in the previous examples, either slightly mroe effective poisons than the cure, or less mind cost to throw than it costs the Doc to cure, or other such reasoining.)

At any rate, I just wanted to say that I fully agree that as CMs we need our own Corre (and they are obviously taking applications for it now). But, please do not question my motivation for listing issues. Especially since the folks here are the ones who listed those issues and then voted them into the position they are in. I had a voice of exactly 1 in that vote, the same as you. I can absolutely assure you I have no intentional agenda (or unintentinal one for that matter, that I can see since I try desperately hard to maintain as balanced on unbiased presentation as I can, but I am only human here) and until we get a Corre for us, I'm sure as heck not going to be fighting any harder for Doc issues than for CM ones. Devoting time to collect those issues is one then (that I admit to sorely lacking for doing for CMs) but having time to present those issues as folks around here have been bringing them up and to the best o fmy understanding is a completely different story. I'll MAKE time to do that.

I will say one last thing here, if it's any consolation. I actually posted CM issues on that forum before I posted any Doc Issues. (Actually I need to do a revote on the Doc issues anyways, so that have to fall behind, but nevertheless!...)
