ok, this is just a personal item that may be different for other players, as in it may have just been apersonal character bug, but here it is anyway.

last night when i was grinding away a bunch of packs completely individually to build up my store of them i noticed that I would ALWAYS get the exact same percentage mods on my ranged stimpacks and small stimpacks after the final pack assembly before experimentation. it didnt matter what type of resources I used, what stats I used on my components or anything. I used the worlds CRAPPIEST resources and the absoloute best ones I had and always always always I came out withthe same percentageacross the board on the final assembly. it was 24% on ranged Bs (since i dont have any of the appropriate metals for higher anymore), and like 28% on the regular stimpack Ds. every time. usage of advanced or normal components did not affect the craft at all either.

like I said, this may have been a personal character bug, but I just thought i'd let everyone know it happened to me and to be on the lookout... its actually beneficial cause you can make halfway decent packs with CRAP for resource

Ok, I just started Artisan cause that's what my holo said to do. I've got myself a bunch of resources and I've started making things so I can exp up as fast as possible. I have no interest in this profession other then to do the Jedi thing.

Now I've made myself 4 crafting tools and I start to grind away and I start getting all these messages:

The crafting session has ended!

and

Crafting Session Failed!

Now its not a crit failure on crafting, this is the window just closing for no apparant reason. Well I started paying attention cause this was really ticking me off and this is what I've figured out.

When the game finishes an item and places it in your inventory or in my case when it doesn't cause I'm practicing it will close any open crafting sessions. If you've passed the combine stage successfully you are SOL now cause you've just lost all your resources.

I don't know if this is a known issue but its one that should be fixed. I'm glad I haven't reached the point where I can craft items that use hundreds or thousands of resources cause I would be really freaking mad if that happened while I was crafting.

Now I can almost understand it if this was done to hose macroing crafters but I'm not macroing. Heck for Artisan you don't need to macro as the exp requirement is pitifully low. Getting to Master Doc was much more annoying crafting wise. I also never noticed this issue when I was crafting for medical items on a mass scale or any of my smuggler items. So this is a recent issue or one that is only around for artisan type crafting.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I've seen some websites where people are complaining about getting the The crafting session has ended! message but I don't think any of them figured out what was causing it.

Have you watched your xp? I use a macro to grind through my crafting and I get that message when it closes the crafting session, but I still get the xp. If you haven't already, bring up your xp monitor and check your xp before you start crafting, and after the item is completed. You'll know when the item is completed because your crafting tool will have numbers counting down until the item is done.

I haven't watched to see if I get the exp. If I do then its not so bad but its still very annoying if I'm actually trying to craft for an item.

since the patch on the 25th, I can no longer see what ingredients are needed for craft items when i click on the item in the list, nor can i see the ingredients needed by checking in the datapad. All it gives you is the description of the item. You have to actually open the crafter and the item to see what is needed to make the item. Is this just me?

Unless you are on a Euro-server, we didn't come down with the rest so we've not had our fix yet

I also noticed that almost all my data schematics are in red boxes - like when items decay. These are the schematics you receive for learning skills, not factory schematics that I have made myself. Is this just me?

It wasn't fixed this morning, but hopefully later! At least the rubberbanding went away on Naboo and Corellia so I could go surveying!
