Thread: Combat Medic Question! Any help is appreciated.

OK, Don't maim me, this is somewhat of a dumb question. But I'm horribly horribly confused.
First let me explain the situation:
I've been grinding the two following professions - Fencer, and Doctor.
Looking into stats, abilities, and what have you I begun to contemplate Combat Medic. Well, upon conversing with two fellow gamers they claim I can do doctor, fencer, AND combat medic. So naturally, I begun to look into how I could go about doing that.
Problem was, observing the skill tree I understand that you need the fourth tree in marksman in order to work towards combat medic. Well marksman counts as a basic profession, right? Well since I all ready have brawler and medic as basic professions towards fencer and doctor, there's no possible way I could snatch up a third basic profession.
So how in the world could I go for Combat Medic?
Am I wrong? Did I over look something? Or was I just misinformed?

I guess you could pick up CM if you don't master both fencer and doc, but that seems kinda silly.

You wouldn't master doctor, You could get a line or two in Doc, or a line or two in CM. Sample templates:
Master Fencer:
Doc 4/0/3/0
CM 0/0/0/4
Master Fencer
Doc 3/0/0/0
CM 4/0/0/4
You'd add to your offensive ability while being able to cure most or all ofthestates. It's quite a viable template.

0400 in CM gives you the ability to heal mind
0400 in Doctor gives you the ability to Rez
two things you may want to consider while choosing what trees to climb in those professions.
