Thread: Is this a good pvp template?
Doesn't sound bad, this is what I'm shooting for (assuming I ever get off my butt to finish pistoleer):
Master Fencer (excellent defensive capabilities, eventual dual wielder)
Master Pistoleer (same as above on defenses and dual wield)
Smuggler 0-0-4-0 (low blow, last ditch and feign death + master pistoleer = fun)
TKA 4-0-0-0 (gotta meditate those wounds away)

If your going to dabble in smugglar its not worth it... cause your not goign to get good speed from pistoleer and not going to be affective... Feign death would be only skill id recomend gettin if your goign to just dable in it
why would you ever want to get offensive line in tka and not meditate.... best partial tk set up is either 4,3,0,4 or 4,0,0,4... Why not add extra 500 to your stats everytime you go and pvp plus FoW..... with that set up your gettin all defense bonus you can get
I really good combo to stop basically anything from killin you would be this
MasterFencer 4,0,0,4 TKA and 4,0,3,0 doctor ... If you find sum1 that can experiment low poison cures you would be able to cure your own disease poison and put out fire i believe....
Other options are going up pistol tech line and get range mit2 with good defenses You could do that instead of tka which isnt terrible idea at all.....i think if you get 1,0,4,0 pistol you will cap on dodge too with fencer
My favorie setup ive done so far is MasterPikeman/Swordsman pistoltech4 1,0,4,0 medic
Only thing that can kill me with this build is a CM ive had 10 guys jump me and long as i stayed center not damn thing could kill me... YOu have to have good lances to do this build by that i mean DOT lances
i have 268str poison lance with 200str mind fire and bunch of others that i use to simply through dots then switch to swords to finish off their mind.. its fun and challenging but good build

gotta decide what you are gonna attack with tho, you should try and get a good geo pistol (unless you have an acklay baton)
Thanks! Only problem is going against people who have tons of good equipment (tapes, weapons, armor, etc.) Since I'm not nearly as rich as they are, I just can't keep up. S'alright though, I just stab them with my mind poison stone knife and run away.

if u went against someone with composite armor 70 base, and 30% stun protection. u would lose horribly. i had that template for a while, but the no armor piercing weapons is not good. Try this.

Wats good bout that template???? You cant get kd fine... but melee def means **edit** really in pvp and how do you plan on killin someone??? fencer dont deal tons of dmg ... Even if you have uber stun baton all person needs is stun armor with personal shield generator....
You have to have way to kill someone....and dabblin in this and that wont get you that.. I was just poiinting it out... do wat you want i was just makin suggestion.....Dont cry if you get owned all im saying
There are several ways to do damage, it's not just run up with the baton and thwap them once. Besides, most of the people on my server are CM/Riflemen, so you smack them with the KD, then dizzy,then scatterhit till the cows come home. Defenses are negligible with those two classes. But you're right, they biggest problem is stun armor and PSG's. As fencers, we are inherently screwed with no AP weapons other than a vibroblade. But what else would you add? TKM? Too much kinetic. Rifleman? Bleh, I'm not a headshot spammer. CM? I hate them with a passion, so why would I become one? And it's not like you just rely on the stun baton for damage, there are others that come with the smuggler and pistoleer professions. The problem is not with the template, it's with the equipment. Uber armor, PSG's, kick ass weapons, etc, etc. It's all about who has the most money to buy this stuff, and who doesn't.
